Stonelith LITHOARC, a lithotripter with
movable ellipsoid 180° over the treatment table, has
an important added application of for Extracorporeal Shock
Wave Therapy, or ESWT. The therapeutic use of electro-hydraulic
shock wave pulses is a rapidly expanding utilization of
machines traditionally limited to stone-breaking procedures.
